The Motability Scheme

You could be entitled to a mobility scooter or powerchair under the Motability scheme. If you are currently in receipt of the High Rate Mobility Component of your Disability Living Allowance or the War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement then contact us now and find out how we can help you get mobile!

The Motability Scheme for Powerchairs and Mobility Scooters is operated by route2mobility under contract to the Motability charity. The Scheme enables you to buy a powerchair or mobility scooter without even paying a deposit. To qualify you must be in receipt of the High Rate Mobility Component of your Disability Living Allowance or the War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement.

You can arrange to turn part of your mobility allowance into the travel solution of your choice from the wide range of powerchairs or mobility scooters payable over a term of one to three years. You do not have to pass any test of credit worthiness to qualify for any of the mobility scooters or powerchairs available on the Motability scheme. Comprehensive insurance, repairs and annual servicing for mobility scooters and powerchairs can all be included in your motability agreement.

In most cases when you buy a new mobility scooter or powerchair using the Motability scheme the repayments will normally take only part of your Mobility Allowance. If you would like to receive any more information relating to the Motability Scheme, please contact us on:
